Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission established under Article 315 of the Constitution
of India has to undertake Direct Recruitment, Recruitment by Transfer, Statutory
rules related to services, Disciplinary cases, Reimbursement of legal expenses and
wound and extraordinary pension cases as its constitutional obligations. Among its
Constitutional obligations, Direct Recruitment has more focus of Public. The Commission
is looking for the persons suitable for the concerned jobs and is updating the Syllabus
for various recruitment tests. The Commission is looking for the recruitment of
knowledgeable persons with originality and ability of quick learning with a passion
to serve the society through employment. Hence, the aspiring candidates for the
jobs recruited through the Commission need not approach coaching centres.
The Commission is undertaking unbiased recruitments as per the laws and regulations
in vogue.The Commission is striving hard to bring in better transparency in its
functioning to instil the confidence among the candidates aspiring for the Government
Employment in Andhra Pradesh. The transparency in its functioning is likely to avoid
litigation and ensure quick disposal of its constitutional obligations. The Commission
will adopt the current technological advances to discharge its duties in an effective
and transparent manner. The Commission has already taken a decision to conduct Online
Examinations for some of the Departmental tests as a beginning. The Commission may
extend the use of technology in all its activities in the near future. The Commission
is likely to be entrusted by the Government with large scale recruitments in the
near future. Time to time, the Commission will take the feedback from all stakeholders
and review its modus operandi in discharging its mandate.
